Universit t Wien (University of Vienna) is one of the oldest universities in Europe, founded in 1365. The university has about 92,000 students, what makes it the largest German-taught university. The main building of the University of Vienna is located in the famous Ringstrasse boulevard ring, other buildings with a total of over 60 are scattered in different neighborhoods of the city and capital surrounding areas. The winter school of cultural and historical research takes place in Vienna, the capital of the former Habsburg monarchy and modern Austria, where until now the traces of the outstanding culture of the late 19th and early 20th centuries are visible. This unique program consists of high-level lectures and guided tours in the city of Vienna. Participants in the program can be the ones that have completed at least 2 years of non-Austrian university studies, or 1 year of the Austrian university studies.
