The University of Freiburg is located in the center of the city, which is considered the capital of the resort region of Schwarzwald. Despite the considerable damage caused to Freiburg during the First and the Second World wars, many ancient buildings of unique architecture in the city has been preserved (or carefully renovated).     Freiburg University offers programs to get Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD degrees. Non Eu citizens can apply for any of the programs online via university web portal. The package of the documents should be sent to the university address by 15.07 or 15.01.

    The minimum level of a German knowledge for study is C1. Some programmes may require taking an enterance exam.

    Studienkolleg Heidelberg provides Non-EU citizens with one-year training course, which is aimed at the preparation to confirm the level of knowledge necessary to start studying at the university in Germany (Feststellungsprüfung). If a student does not pass the exam, it can be repeated only once, and the test must be re-taken in the same Studienkolleg, where the previous one was held.

    To submit the application you should register online at university web portal until 15.07 or 15.01. All the documents should be sent by post to the university address. Minimum language knowledge requirement B2 level.
