Bern University is an educational institution located in the capital of Switzerland, city of Bern. The university is financed and managed by the authorities of the Canton of Bern. According to the Rating, published in «Times Higher Education» Journal (2007), the University of Bern ranked the 7th in Switzerland and 214th in the world.
University is a complex that includes 8 faculties and about 160 institutes and 8 graduate schools.
Today, about 15 900 students study at the university, that means an average index among Swiss universities. The language of instruction is German, but you can also take the exams in French or Italian.
Education does not come to the end after receiving a university degree. The Center for Non-stoping Education at the University offers more than 50 courses and all of them are suitable for practitioners.
The master program includes International Law and Economics (MILE), Business Administration Rochester-Bern (EMBA), Advanced Epidemiology and Cross-Cultural Business Practice exclusively for The University of Bern graduates.
