The University of Salzburg is one of the leading public universities in Austria, which is famous for its accessibility, traditions, innovative researches and the degree of integration into the cultural and economic life of Salzburg. The University of Salzburg offers studies in 4 faculties:

Currently, more than 30 fields of study and 80 Diploma, Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree programs are offered at Salzburg University.
In addition, the special project of Lifelong Learning “University 55+” offers many courses and special educational opportunities. The university cooperates with many other universities and provides its students with the opportunity to participate in exchange programs at one of these partner-universities.
The language of instruction at the university is German, but English-language programs are also offered. The students, whose knowledge of German is not sufficient, are offered German courses on the campus of the university.
