What are the deadlines for submitting an application to the University of Stuttgart?

Application deadlines differ depending on the program you choose. Generally, you can only apply for Winter Semester. Applications for both Winter Semester and Summer Semester are accepted only for certain Master's degree programs, or for higher regular semesters. Please note that the application is accepted online; you do not need to send anything by post in paper. The standard deadline for applications for Winter Semester is until 15.07 and for Summer Semester until 15.01. International Master's degree programs have another rules and deadlines.

If I plan to study in English, is it necessary to study German?

All students that plan to study in Germany are advised to know at least A2 level of German. Basic knowledge of German is required for everyday life.

Are there any sports opportunities at the university?

Depending on your preferences, you can choose some courses at University Sports Stuttgart. The university offers about 100 different sports programs.
