The Storm King School is a boarding school that aims to make successful its students both in education and personal development. The Storm King School is accredited by NYSAIS and Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Secondary Schools. SKS is a member of New York State Association of Independent Schools, the National Association of Independent Schools and the College Board. The school has a comfortable and picturesque location on the western bank of the Hudson River close to the Storm King Mountain and in the one-hour drive from New York. The Storm King School offers 3 academic buildings, library (with a computer lab), professional theater (230 seats), visual arts center, gym with a cardio-fitness center, two athletic fields, four dormitories, and observatory for the comfortable studying and living. The Storm King School offers spacious dormitories with two-bedded rooms. There is also a small number of single rooms in the school. Each dormitory is run by competent and loving workers. Girls and boys live in different dormitories. The school provides three meals a day in the school dining hall.
