St. Gilgen International School is a boarding school that opens its doors for students of different age. Usually, international students attend school from 10th to 12th grades. The school teaches its students to be strong and independent, to think critically and orient in the modern difficult world. Mutual understanding and respect also help students to make new friends from all around the world and thus spread world’s unity. Tuition in the school provides small classes, dynamic studying, individual approach to every student, wide choice of subjects and possibility to develop in the sport and art areas. The school is located in the picturesque town of St. Gilgen near the Wolfgangsee lake in close distance to Salzburg. Near 250 students from different countries of the world attend the school. The language of instruction is English, but German, French and Spanish are also offered.
For the cultural and spiritual development, students are offered a wide range of extra-curricular activities and excursions, children also volunteer. Music takes one of the central places in the students’ life, there is a recording studio with modern equipment on the school campus, lots of concerts and musical evenings are held annually. After classes students can go kayaking, mount climbing, horse riding, water skiing, hiking, mount biking and Alps summit ascent. The excursion program offers trips both inside and outside the country.

At the St. Gilgen International School, your child will be assisted by a teacher, a mentor, who is cared for by the needs of a small group of students (maximum up to 6 students). Groups meet every day to ensure regular contact. A teacher / mentor is the main contact for teachers and parents regarding to the needs and development of their students.
Mozarteum programme at St. Gilgen International School is available to students in the grades from 5 to 12 and combines the advantages of a prestigious university preparatory program with an excellent international secondary education. This program will be useful and interesting to the participants for its extensive number of cultural events. In addition, Mozarteum program implies to world-class music education within the pre-university curriculum.
The trial day program consists of the following features: communication with the vise director school tour test in English and Math a number of classes activity day visit overnight stay in a boarding house (only for boarding school students) The trial day program will allow you to get aquaintanced with the way of living a full-time staying as a student at St. Gilgen’s International School.
The summer camp program at St. Gilgen International School provides 3 hours daily English or German study. Teaching is done by qualified teachers. The main goal of the lessons is to develp the participants' conversational skills of the studied language.
During the program, participants of the program can take water and mountain sports (hiking, mountain biking, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, etc.). In addition, the camp participants will be involved to various cultural and historical events related to music, drama, art, photography, sightseeing.
