Is there an opportunity for LMU students to gain practical experience in another country? What are the basic requirements for a student? Does the university assist in finding an internship?

All LMU students can plan an internship abroad at any time. Gaining a practical experience is usually recommended after the 3rd semester. The main requirements for candidates are knowledge of the language, for example, English, or French, and of course good knowledge and skills during the study of the program. There is a Career Center at the university, where you can get some advice and recommendation. Among the most popular countries for gaining practical experience there are Great Britain, the USA, France, Spain, etc. The place of the practice is selected accordingly to your goals. That can be a business company, a public organization, a non-profit organization, or a research institute. That would be good to start the preparation and search in advance, since some companies may select interns a year before the start of the internship, but some can do that in two months before. In order to get funding for the internship period, LMU students are recommended to apply for a scholarship or grant in advance.
